You clearly do not understand what your quran says. You can parrot it like many people, but you don't know what you're reading. Even the verse YOU quoted "Naught of disaster befalleth in the earth or in yourselves but it is in a Book before we bring it into being" says that allah controls everything and we have no choice. WE BRING IT INTO BEING. but you just won't admit it because you're too cowardly to even think that you could be wrong.

quran is the guidance for all human being not merely for imamm. to everyone, quran talk heart by heart. how could you well understand arabic but hardly guided ? i memorize some of surahs, and i know the meaning of them from translation. suppose you get quran better than me.
what make you better than me? while i run many languanges in my daily life? asian, eropah, english, i read quran (arabic), how could i dont know the truth?
islam, hindu, nazarany, shinto etc, it is very easy to pick one of them and learn it.

you convert or not depend on Allah. even the uncle of prophet Muhammad denied the truth. prophet was a politest guy ever.
you dont need apolite gesture. what you need is a motivation and sincerity.
bey bey. learn more and more. dont stop seek a truth. try budhism (it is a calm faith, meditation yoga etc, good for you, but bad in here after) for the first, just like many islamic converters did.
